In 2017 August, a strategic decision was made to ensure customers are spoilt of choice by having East Africa Retail Corporation Continue operation for Landmark Group (UAE) Brands and Danube Home (UAE) and HOPE Holding Company Ltd to run with the burner of expansion for brands in the following Divisions :
Cosmetic Division – Flormar (TURKEY) , Bottega Verde (ITALY),
Department stores Division – REDTAG (UAE),
Sports Division – Skecher (USA)
This year , 3 Flormar Cosmetic shops, 1 Danube Home Shop & 1 Max Brand Shop opened its doors in different area of the city.
2015
Another expansion plan materialized and a new branch opened at GSM Mall – Pugu with yet another additional brand from Landmark Group (UAE) – Shoexpress and as well as Danube Home (UAE) opened it first shops in East Africa Community . 9 stores of existing Brands were launched on the same day . On the same year, a cosmetic shop – Flormar was open at China Plaza
2013
The thought of establishing a one stop shopping center for Clothing Fashion and footwear was born, which resulted in attaining more brands from Landmark Group (UAE) - Max, ShoeMart and Lifestyle, Cortefiel Grupo (SPAIN) - Springfield , Cortefiel, Women Secret Flormar (TURKEY). That year 9 stores were opened on the same day at Msasani GSM Mall.
2012
In July 2012, East Africa Retail Corporation opened its first doors for 2 stores (Babyshop, Splash) at one of the Main Malls in Tanzania – Mlimani City to the delight of the customers.

Our History begins with the founder having a thought of bringing international for clothing and footwear brand into Tanzania to bridge the gap for our consumers, who constantly desires to reach and obtain product from around the world. At this point, East Africa Retail Corporation was formed in the year 2011 where we attained franchising rights for some of the Landmark Group (UAE) Dubai namely Babyshop, Splash, ShoeMart, Lifestyle, Max.
